Rovers Future Looking Brighter

1st December 1999
Rovers future seems to be looking brighter. Last week the club were in danger of going out of existence after being faced with a demand to pay off a debt.

Fortunately for the Moatmen last minute fund raising saved the day. Other changes have been made behind the scenes at the Moat which means that Gresley can look forward with some optimism for once after a torrid few years.
Mark Evans takes over as chairman from Peter Hall, who remains on the board, while George Sutton becomes vice-chairman, replacing Dennis Everitt who also stays on the board.

Now Gresley can concentrate on improving their form on the pitch.
