Rovers told to look sharp - Burton Mail

23rd August 1991
Gresley boss Frank Northwood has called for a sharper attacking edge to his side for the visit of Lye Town tomorrow (3pm).

Northwood admitted last night: “Two of our strikers had just come back from holiday when we played Cradley last week and they looked half a yard short.

“But we’ve been training hard this week – we know Lye will give us a very hard game. They’ll be looking to come here and roll us over.”

Rovers’ one injury doubts surrounds full back Martin Dick, who pulled a hamstring in training this week.
