Gresley Rovers manager Frank Northwood appealed for patience today on the eve of his side’s Moat Ground clash with West Midlands League leaders Stourport Swifts.

Said Northwood: “You don’t get the points they’ve got without being a good side, but we showed against Chasetown on Tuesday what we can do with a little patience.

“I shall be asking the players to keep plugging away and hope the fans will understand.”

Northwood’s squad includes Scott Elliott, back in action after breaking his leg on September 7th.
