Testing time for Gresley

31st July 1992
Gresley Rovers face their toughest pre-season friendly yet tomorrow – with a squad highly depleted by unavailability.

No fewer than eight players are either injured or on holiday for the visit of Third Division Swansea City’s full-strength first team (3pm). The Swans are midway through a pre-season first team only training camp at Keele University.

Moat boss Steve Dolby chooses from a 13-man-squad, saying: “It should be a good test for our organisation and fitness.”

Local interest will be stirred, as Swansea will be fielding former Burton Albion defender Des Lyttle.
