History lesson for Rovers - Burton Mail

28th August 1992
Gresley Rovers hit the FA Cup trail against Highgate United at the Moat Ground tomorrow (3pm) with manager Steve Dolby claiming: “The club can make history again this season.”

Rovers have only once made the first round proper – travelling to glorious defeat at York City in 1931. But Dolby said today: “It’s the aim of every non-league team to reach that stage of the competition – and I believe we’ve got a good chance this season if we approach the games in the right way.”

Dolby names an unchanged squad for the third consecutive game for tomorrow’s Preliminary Round game.
