Gresley Rovers are poised to reinforce their Beazer Homes Midland title challenging squad by snapping up Burton Albion defender Nathan Foster.
Rovers were given permission to speak to Foster at the weekend and are expected to complete the signing on a free transfer tomorrow.
Gresley boss Steve Dolby said: “We needed cover with the squad down to 15, especially in defence. But I wasn’t looking for someone to do a short-term job, I wanted a long-term prospect for the club and I feel Nathan fits that role ideally.
“Nathan is only 19 but he’s made more than 50 Beazer Premier appearances with Burton and can play in any of the back four positions.”
