Halesowen pre-match news

21st October 2003
On-loan striker Shaun Harrad should be back for tonight's clash at The Grove tonight.

However, Gresley manager Gary Norton is not counting his chickens.

He said: "We should definately have Shaun for tonight's game but until I see him on the bus I won't count my chickens!"

Midfielder Liam Walshe is unavailable so that could mean a start for Carl Slater.

However,Norton said: "We have a number of options and I'm not going to reveal my plans. Leon Doughty could play in central midfield putting Richard Wardle on the right.

Liam Hebberd who had a good game on Saturday is also in the reckoning upfront posing the manager a dilema of who to start with.

Although Gary White has declared himself fit after his recent injury Norton may decide to give him a little longer with no first team game on Saturday.

Gresley from: Belford, Everitt, Smith, Haynes, Cheetham, Barrett, Doughty, Wardle, Slater, Harrad, Hebberd, Lenagh, Tate, Alexander, Clarke (gk).
