It's all change for DMWL managers

24th October 2003
This week saw three Dr Martens Western Division managers leave their posts.

Phil Mullen resigned as manager of Dr Martens League Western Division Evesham United on Tuesday night.

Mullen, who had been at the club for four years, quit soon after watching his side lose for a tenth time in fifteen matches this season when Rugby United grabbed a late winner at Common Road.

Paul West and Micky Brennan have been put in temporary charge of team affairs and, with a limited fixture list over the next few weeks, chairman Jim Cockerton is in no hurry to find a permanent successor.

Tommy Callinan left Cinderford Town in shock when he resigned as manager after Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat by Yate Town. (see news item).

Charlie Bishop and Phil Towle have left Ilkeston Town. The new manager as been already been appointed and is the well travelled Phil Stant making him the 7th manager in 4 seasons for the Robins.
