Dr Martens League Premier Division club Nuneaton Borough's defender Adam Cooper has joined Western Division side Solihull Borough on a permanent basis after impressing on loan during the past month.

Cooper came through the ranks of the Manor Park outfit from the youth team but has found himself out of manager Alan Lewer's first-team plans this season.

The Nuneaton boss said: "Adam wants first-team football at his age and I couldn't guarantee him that.

"Hopefully it will work out for him and everyone at the club wishes him well."
