Ashfield\'s Finance Director Steve Bainbridge with Mark Evans and Gary Norton

Gresley Rovers have unveiled Ashfield Healthcare as their new main Club sponsor.

Locally based, Ashfield Healthcare is the premier contract services provider in the UK and Ireland and, with a flourishing business in the USA, the company continues to go from strength to strength.

Announcing the sponsorship from Ashfield's purpose built head office in Ashby, Gresley Rovers Chairman Mark Evans looked forward to what he described as " an enthusiastic partnership with a Company that shared its vision and ambition".

Mark Evans added "they very much want to play an active and inclusive role with the Club and share our committment to community.

This sponsorship represents the biggest single partnership arrangement in Gresley Rovers' history and will help us continue the progress we have made.

We will see an involvement and interest from their Directors and Staff, I am very excited by the opportunities that there involvement bring to the Club."

Business of the Year 2004 winner

Ashfield Healthcare has enjoyed phenomenal success in a very short time. The company was set up seven years ago with just three people and was run from a back bedroom of a house before moving to small offices in Ashby's Market Street.

Back then the company had £1000 in the bank, now they have around 1000 employees worldwide, an estimated turnover for 2004 of £42 million and are based in their own purpose-built headquarters. They are now one of the fastest growing companies, not only in the pharmaceutical industry, but in the whole UK and have successful divisions in Ireland and the USA.

Building links with the local community is important to Ashfield's directors and head office staff and are all "delighted" to be associated with Gresley Rovers Football Club.
