Gresley Rovers striker Ricky Marshall has left the Moat Ground for Dr Martens Western rivals Solihull Borough.
The much-traveled frontrunner has been squeezed out of the Gresley side in recent weeks after Kevin Allsop and Dave King forged Rovers' most effective strike pairing of the campaign.
However, Marshall, would have been in line for a recall for Tuesday's Derbyshire Senior Cup final first leg at home to Ilkeston Town with King cup tied. Teenager Micky Sandar now stands by for a call-up.
Said Moat boss Brian Kenning "Ricky feels the lads are playing well and his opportunities were going to be restricted. He got suspended and since then he's been injured and he hasn't shown much form. But when he first came here he did very, very well and we wish him all the best."
