Manager Gary Norton has signed Eastwood Town's experienced central defender Lee Soar who could be making his debut in tomorrow's game at Stockbridge Park Steels.

Soar who joined the Badgers from Hucknall Town in October 2003 making 100 appearances, playing alongside Gresley's summer signing Matt Millns.

Norton said: "I watched Lee a number of times last season before we had played Eastwood and both he and Matt Millns impressed me. Over the years Lee and Matt have played a lot of games together and when Matt is fit, they should be able to pick up their partnership."

Also signed is former Nuneaton Borough and Solihull Borough defender Adam Cooper.

Norton said: "Cooper signed forms for us on Thursday and is looking for another club, so he could come in and do a us a favour in a bit of a trial situation."
