Clitheroe pre-match news

3rd February 2006
Striker Chris White has been called into the squad for tomorrow's game at Clitheroe with Paul Edwards possibly turning out for the reserves.

Chris White as had a productive period recently for the reserves but manager Gary Norton said that he still wants Chris to take it nice and slow after recovering from a series of injuries over the last couple of seasons.

Keeper Gavin Saxby looks set to keep his place although Norton has not given up trying to bring in another keeper after failing to do so before tomorrow's game. James Pemberton is due to start a 35-day suspension picked up playing for the reserves so another keeper is vital with important games coming up.

Midfielder Nicky Carter could start as Norton looks likely to partner David Holmes with Aaron O'Connor up front.

Defender Matt Millns will possibly turn out for the reserves as Norton wants him to get another 90 minutes under his belt especially as Chris Brindley has been short-listed for the vacant manager's job at AFC Telford United.

Gresley from: Saxby, Davies, G White, Brindley, Simpson, Lyons, Slater, Barrett, Moran, Carter, O'Connor, Holmes, C White, Heer, Williams
