Macpherson Coach

Rovers today revealed local coach company MacPherson as the reserve team's main sponsor.

Chairman Mark Evans said today, " It's a very exciting deal. The local company, based in Donisthorpe, are very well known and respected in our area and have been associated with Gresley Rovers for some time. It's also proof of the new confidence in the Gresley Rovers brand. We will save "thousands" during this season as the club will receive heavily discounted away game travel for the first team as part of the sponsorship deal."

Supporters will also benefit from the arrangement by the launch of the ‘free-to-join’ Gresley Rovers – MacPherson Travel Club before the start of the new season.

The Rover’s match day programme will include vouchers that the supporters can collect. These will then be presented on joining the travel club, which will then entitle them to10 percent discounts on all Macpherson trips in Britain and Europe.

The MacPherson’s logo will be displayed on the reserve team’s shirts for the season 2001 -2002
