Buxton pre-match news

13th October 2006
Gresley Rovers entertain highflying Buxton on Saturday at the Moat Ground with a few players still missing

- right back Andy Spencer (broken toe), left back Gary White (back) and midfielder David Holmes (hamstring), but captain Colin Hoyle could possibly return to the starting line up having made the bench at Willenhall after missing five games with a knee injury.

Manager Gary Norton said: "Colin Hoyle had a really good session at training on Tuesday night and it is very much in my plans to start Colin on Saturday.

"Buxton are going well and it will be a tough game and what I am looking for is some degree of consistency as we have been making individual errors and have been putting in vastly differing performances."

Gresley from: Whittle, Douglas, Millns, Hoyle, Slater, Barrett, Edwards, O'Connor, Betteridge, Simpson, Francis, Carter, Sangha, Ridgway, Hemmings.
