David Blenkinsopp

Manager Gary Norton is hoping to persuade Nuneaton boss Roger Ashby to extend the loan deal for David Blenkinsopp.

The young striker has been a success scoring three goals in three games and a further month extension at least would be Norton's aim.

Said Norton: "I'm delighted with David's contribution since he joined us. On Saturday against Harrogate he hit a superb late winner from what could only be called a half chance.

"I've not spoken to Roger yet but we would certainly like to extend the loan but it all depends on Nuneaton."
