| John McGinlay receives his award |
John McGinlay has won the October Manager of the Month for the Dr Martens League Western Division.
The award comes as a result in turning the side around from a bottom 3 side to a top 10 side after a superb run of 7 games un-defeated.
Speaking to www.gresleyrovers.com today John said:" I'm very pleased with being made the Manager of the Month for October. It's my first award in management.
"This is really a team award. It's a reflection of the effort the players have put in on the pitch.
"Credit must also got to Alan Titterton and Andy Mason who played their part especially for the two games when they were in charge along with support from Gaz Norton. It's been a team effort and it's also good for Gresley Rovers.
"With it being the October award I would like to dedicate it to my mum who passed away during the month."
Congratulations to John, Alan, Andy, Gaz and the lads. Let's hope this award is the first of many.
