Rioch Stories Denied

6th November 2001
Chairman Mark Evans today denied stories in today's press suggesting Bruce Rioch has taken temporary charge at the Moat Ground.

The Daily Telegraph, amongst others, ran the story in their sport section 'Sport Tuesday'.

The story was also featured on BBC Television.

Bruce Rioch came to take one training session only, as a favour to John McGinlay.

For a full report see news item on this site dated 29th October titled "Rioch at Gresley".

John McGinlay said:"Bruce would have had a chuckle when he read the story in the press today."
