After last weekends disappointing exit in the Derbyshire cup, Simon and I will be looking for an improvement in saturday's game at Willenhall. The lads have trained well this week and the morale is good, so a result today will see us put last weeks poor display behind us.

Dave Evans has recently left the club to join Stapenhill. This was obviously a disappointment to us all here but Dave felt like he wanted a change after being unable to break into the first team picture. From all account he has started well and we wish him all the best. Infact, the Stapenhill team now consist of Dave, Paul Grant and Ravi Sangha, all of whom started the season here in the Reserves as well as Steve Cambell and Jason Marshall.

Joining the club on trial are Alex Hemming who has had Academy experience at Stoke and Derby. Alex is a forward and that is certainly an area we are looking to strengthen. James Cunningham who was with Leeds United as a youngster has also joined the club. James had a bad leg break a couple of seasons back and is looking to get back into the game.
