Frank thanks fans - Burton Mail

6th May 1986
Gresley Rovers manager Frank Northwood has called on his side to say thank you to the Moat Ground crowd by signing off their home programme with a victory over Tipton Town tonight (7.30pm).

Rovers can take a huge step towards securing runners-up spot in the Banks’s West Midlands League with a win tonight, but that is not their only reason Northwood wants a victory.

He said, “I would love to say thank you to the supporters by winning our last home game. The fans have been absolutely tremendous this season. They have travelled to away games in great numbers and given us superb backing.”
