Rovers have unveiled their first new kit since the Moat Ground club won the Dr Martens Championship in 1997.

Instead of the familiar red and white quarters, an all scarlet shirt has been chosen to go with white shorts with red trim. The Moatmen's traditional red socks with white piping have been retained. Chairman Mark Evans negotiated the "four-figure" strip deal with Burton based manufacturers TAG who have now become both official club shop and kit sponsors. Replica kits, polo and training shirts will soon be available at the TAG Club Shop alongside other new merchandise to be introduced throughout the season.

Gresley Rovers boss Brian Kenning has signed Matt Boyles, a creative midfielder who scored 21 goals for Oadby Town on the way to the Interlink Alliance Title last season.

The Gresley Rovers player Graeme Fowkes has left the club to join Borrowash Victoria.
