Frank plays it cool - Burton Mail

10th October 1986
Gresley boss Frank Northwood, not a man normally noted for his reticence, has adopted a softly-softly approach in the build up for tomorrow’s super showdown at Edge Hill.

He said last night: “We’re looking forward to what should be a good game of football. I’ve never been to Stapenhill, but I’m told they have an excellent playing surface and they are expecting a big crowd, so we’re looking forward to it.

“As always, my main concern is that we play to our full potential. I can’t ask any more of the players than that.”
