Bromley the brave set to bounce back - Burton Mail

7th December 1986
Defender Mark Bromley returns to Gresley Rovers Banks’s League side for tomorrow’s trip to Oldswinford – two weeks after breaking his nose and suffering a suspected broken jaw.

Bromley, whose bruises still show the seriousness of the injury, replaces the unavailable Ian Earley and earns the praise of Rovers’ manager Frank Northwood.

“Mark had a serious injury, but he couldn’t wait to get back in the side,” said Northwood last night. “He’s very enthusiastic and quite a character – just the sort of player we need.”
