Full back Mark Bromley is out of Gresley Rovers' side for their FA Vase fourth round trip to Warrington on Saturday.
Bromley has started a two-week suspension after collecting three bookings since the start of the season.
Manager Frank Northwood said last night: "Obviously it's a blow to us, but you learn to live with these things when you've been in football as long as I have.
"I feel sorry for the lad. Had the bad weather not forced the postponement of the game last Saturday, he would have been able to play."
Bromley's absence will almost certainly mean a recall for John Bromley, with Ian Early switching to left back.
Northwood last night completed two signings to strengthen his squad in anticipation of a rush of fixtures later in the season.
He snapped up former Burton Albion midfielder Jack Oldershaw, now back in the area after working on the south coast, and goalkeeper Richard Gregg, who once played for Multipart Leaguers Mossley.
Oldershaw, who skippered Albion's Youth team two years ago, made his Multipart League debut last season, scoring a penalty spot winner.
Gregg, whose job has brought him to the area, has been signed as cover for Karl Austin.
