Gresley to go for Guy - Burton Mail

17th February 1987
Midfielder Guy Hall who walked out on Burton Albion this week, could be on his way to Gresley Rovers.

Hall, who quit Eton Park through a lack of first team opportunities, is the subject of seven days’ notice from Gresley to Albion of the Moat Ground club’s intention to approach the player.

The Rolleston-based player is believed to be keen on a move to South Derbyshire, where he would team up with former Eton Park colleagues Steve Dolby, Clive Arthur, John Bottomley and Ian Pearsall.

Meanwhile, Wednesfield Social defender Dave Beattie is to go to the Football Association in a bid to release in order to join Gresley.
