Hall takes over
- Burton Mail
13th July 1987 Former player Peter Hall has taken over as chairman of Gresley Rovers following the resignation of former Derby and England defender David Nish. Nish, who now runs a sub-post office in Derby, has quit his Moat Ground post because of business commitments. Peter Jenkinson has been elected secretary/treasurer, while Geoff Jackson; well-known in the sports quiz field is the new match secretary. President Gordon Duggins and vice-chairman Dennis Everitt have both been re-elected.
