25th September 1987
John Bottomley will be pressed into duty as an emergency striker when Gresley Rovers attempt to make it eight-wins-out-of-eight in the Banks’s League tomorrow.

The young defender stands in for the holidaying Paul Acklam for Malvern Town’s visit to the Moat Ground (3pm).

Rovers’ boss Frank Northwood also includes goalkeeper Bob Aston – snapped up in midweek from Eastwood Hanley.
