Midfielder Steve Daley misses Gresley Rovers’ vital Banks’s League Premier Division clash with neighbours Hinckley Athletic at the Moat Ground tonight (7.30pm).

Daley, substituted in Saturday’s goalless visit to RSSC Ransomes in the FA Vase, was not considered by manager Frank Northwood because of a troublesome ankle injury.

His absence is expected to pave the way for Northwood to give winger Kirk Jennings, recruited last week from Mile End Rovers, his Rovers’ debut.

Rovers also include Dean Page and Mark Abbott, both snapped up following the demise of Brereton Social, in a 16-man squad.
