Around 400 officials, players, parents, sponsors and friends attended the 1st Gresley Rovers Juniors Presentation Evening.

The event was held at the Gresley Old Hall and proved to be a successful and enjoyable night.

Each player of the U10’s, U12’s, U13’s U15’s were presented with an award and each team had their Top Goal Scorer, Clubman, Most Improved Player, Supporters Player, Players Player, Managers Player and Directors Player of the Year Awards.

Hopefully next season will see a further three more teams entering league football.

A special presentation was made to the youngsters, both boys and girls, of the Soccer School. This group began with around 6 players but now gets up to 40 attending on Saturday’s.

The evening was suitably rounded off with the presentation of the Coalville Youth League U12’s League Championship Trophy by Mrs Jackie North Treasurer of the CYL.
