New clubs check in - Burton Mail

29th June 1988
Gresley are likely to face a crop of new clubs when the Banks’s League Premier Division campaign gets underway in August.

Hinckley Town have been accepted from the Central Midlands League and Paget Rangers will be competing in the Banks’s League for the first time after being relegated from the Beazer Homes League Midland Division.

At tonight’s annual meeting Banks’s League officials will recommend the promotion of Rocester, Millfields, Stourport Swifts and Wolverhampton Casuals to the top flight.

Wolverhampton United are recommended for relegation because of inadequate facilities.
