Rovers again turn to Simon - Burton Mail

Goalkeeper discovery Simon Harrison again deputises for injured skipper Bob Aston as Gresley Rovers continue their preparations for the new season at the Moat Ground tonight.

Harrison, a 20-year-old former Chesterfield player was one of the stars of Rovers’ Johnson Cup victory over Burton Albion at the weekend, lines up against Northern Premier Leaguers Eastwood Hanley (7pm).

Manager Frank Northwood also drafts midfielder Wayne Secker, a summer signing from Oldbury United into a 15-man squad.
