Nottingham Forest pre-match news

23rd July 2002
Gresley Rovers manager Jon Newsome could include another couple of trialists for tonight’s Bass Vase match against Nottingham Forest.

The line up will be largely the same as against Stockport County last week, although for this game only five substitutes are allowed which will reduce Newsome’s options.

Stuart Evans and James Lewsley are unavailable and Ian Bluck, Mark Peters, Mark Sheils and Chris White are all struggling with injuries.

“I will use these warm-up games to have a look at trialists with a view of bringing them to the club. We are now gearing up and looking forward to the first league game of the season,” remarked the Moat boss.
