Experienced striker, Gary Smith, put pen to paper after Wednesday's friendly to sign for Gresley Rovers.
Smith, the former Tamworth, Worcester City and Halesowen Town front-runner impressed manager John Newsome in two pre-season games who described him as 'a missing piece of the jigsaw.'
Newsome said of his latest signing: "I'm delighted that he's decided to join us. I think he's a piece of the jigsaw that possibly we're missing. He was part of the side who won the Dr Martens Western Division title for Halesowen and I hope his experience and skill will substantially stengthen the squad.
"He was very lively again tonight upfront. He adds another dimension and you can see he's played at a higher level."
Smith opened his account for Gresley scoring from the penalty spot in the 1-1 draw at home with Ossett Town.
