Newsome adds a striker

20th September 2002
Manager Jon Newsome has signed former Kettering Town, Grantham Town and Lincoln United striker Paul Tomlinson.

Tomlinson, a prison officer in Buckingham, lives locally and was targeted by Newsome during the summer.

Strikers Neil Kitching and Gary Smith are unavailable so it was decided to sign another striker.

Newsome said: "Paul has played in the Conference and Premier Level and has got a bit of everything.

The new striker is set to make his debut tomorrow against Mangotsfield United.
