Manager John Newsome has signed central defender Gary Knight.

Knight, last years Borough's 'player of the season' had played over 170 games for Solihull but has recently fallen out of favour.

Newsome was quick to react when he heard the news that Knight was available and thinks he's pulled off a tremendous signing.

"We needed to do something to stop the rot and Gary is very experienced and people I've spoken to can't believe we managed to get him." he said.
