Hinckley pre-match news

29th October 2002
Manager Jon Newsome as still to decide what system to play against tonight’s visitors Hinckley United in the first round of the Dr Martens League Cup.

He will be without Ian Bluck (hamstring) and Craig Hopkins (work commitments), however, Michael Crawford returns after a bout of the flu.

Andy Bourne and Owen James should both be available after missing Saturday’s trip to Weston-suoer-Mare.

Carl Timms could also make his first start after impressing in his two sub appearances.

“Timms did exceptionally well when he came on at Weston. He caused them lots of problems and was unlucky not to have made a goal for Gary Smith. He certainly did enough to out himself in the frame,” remarked Newsome.

Striker Neil Kitching came through the game on Saturday successfully after his surprise run out after his recent injury.
