Radcliffe Pre-Match News
Former Moatman Chris Gray has made a surprise return to the Moat Ground. On his return Norton says: "They call him Boomerang because this will be the fourth or fifth time we have signed him — he just keeps coming back!"
"He called on Monday and agreed to come and train with us. Chris is recovering from a foot injury after he damaged his fifth metatarsal, and his current club, Grantham Town, gave him the chance to move closer to home."

"He was a UniBond player with Stamford last season and played against us, and although he is primarily a winger, he played much of the season at centre-half for them."

Jack Coulson who was recalled by Mickleover last week because of their injury problems has now committed to Gresley strengthening Norton's defensive options.

Norton said: "We have had a bit of a U-Turn on Jack — he played for Mickleover on Saturday but was then on the bench on Tuesday, so he called us to say he wanted to make the move permanent, which is great news for us."

Stefan Marshall will probably make the squad after recovering from a back injury but Olive Hancock remains sidelined.

Jordi Gough and Andy Elliott will continue playing for the reserves as they return to fitness after both suffering injuries.

Gresley from: Baldwin, Davies, A Betteridge, Langford, Coulson, Slater, Lyons, Barrett, Woodall, Spencer, T Betteridge, Turville, Hill, Burnham, Gray, Marshall.
