Midfielder Neil Lovell hopes to make a comeback as Gresley Rovers stretch for the Banks’s League title at West Bromwich Town tonight (7.30pm).
Lovell has been sidelined for a week with a pulled muscle but makes the trip to West Bromwich Town, along with another key casualty, striker Carl Rathbone, who is recovering from a leg injury.

“Carl might be ready to have a game tonight, but we are not entirely sure yet,” explained Rovers’ secretary Peter Jenkinson.

Goalkeeper Bob Aston’s groin strain is yet to clear up and understudy Tony Moore is again named alongside him in the squad.

West Bromwich slipped 29 points adrift of the Moatmen by drawing 1-1 at home to Paget Rangers on Saturday, while Gresley moved closer to the league title with a 2-0 win against Wednesfield.
