Taunton Town pre-match news
“Taunton are an unknown quantity to us which is not ideal” remarked manager Jon Newsome. “They are up there with us and it will not be easy. But, by the same token, we are an unknown quantity to them.”
Newsome will have to decide whether to stick with a winning side or accommodate the returning Chris Gray from the start.

Gray, who has been in a rich vein of form, returns after serving a three match suspension. “He’s was doing ever so well before his suspension but the young lads who’ve come in have done well so the team selection will be tricky,” added Newsome.

Newsome’s final decision could be helped with the news that one of the youngsters, Carl Slater, has this week been suffering with tonsillitis and a kidney infection.

Defender Stuart Evans looks likely to return after recovering from a leg injury and striker Neil Kitching has recovered from his recent thigh strain.

Ian Bluck misses his second match as he serves a three match ban.
