Gresley Rovers fans get the chance to meet their Wembley heroes when the club stages a fun day on Sunday August 18th.
The fun day, in the Moat Street, Church Gresley, offers a variety of attractions, including and opportunity to guess the weight of the old-fashioned red telephone box in the Rising Sun pub. There will be plenty of stalls and games including raffles, tombola, spinning wheel and refreshments.The fun starts at 2pm and finishes at 5pm, with BBC television for the Midlands filming the event for its forthcoming documentary programme on the club.
