Nuttall sacked

Gresley have parted company with defender Frank Nuttall following a bust-up with manager Frank Northwood.
Northwood was furious after the former Celtic man revealed he was injured just 20 minutes before the start of Saturday’s vital clash at Chasetown.The row continued after the game, which Rovers lost 4-1 after Nuttall and Northwood exchanged angry words in full view of sections of the crowd watching the 3-2 friendly win over Hinckley Town.
Northwood said afterwards: “I accused him of cheating us at Chasetown by not telling us he was injured and he didn’t like it.”
