White to stay
Gary White

Gary White

The 19 year old defender Gary White has turned down a move to a Dr Martens Premier Club.
White, who played for Bradford City reserves in December and Crewe Alexander reserves in February has been watched by scouts since joining the Moatmen. Worcester City had White watched in the season's final game at the Moat Ground against Weston-super-Mare.

Chairman Mark Evans said today: " Gary has turned down a move to a Premier Division club which was pleasing and pledged to stay at Gresley for the next season. He says he wants to stay and we are absolutley delighted. Gary is a very mature young man and I think the experience at professional clubs has helped him take a view of offers and what he wants from football. Although he's pledged his future to the club I remain a little cautious as there is a long way to go before the start of the season"
