Hendon FC notes
This Saturday our visitors are Hendon FC for what will be the final pre-season friendly for both clubs.
Gresley will be without both Ian Pitt and Andy Cheetham with Matt Moran facing a fitness test on a back injury.
Matt Smith, who missed Tuesday's friendly at Burton Albion due to illness, is back in the line-up.

Manager Gary Norton said: "I'm expecting another stern test against a team who are among the favourites to win the Ryman Premier title. We have mad sure that all our pre-season friendlies have been worthwhile playing against sides of the same level as us or higher.

"I'm hoping for a similar performance as against Hucknall Town where although we lost the game, we dictated the game."

Some Hendon facts:

Hendon FC are members of the Rymans Premier League and ended last season 3rd, 13 points behind Canvey Island and 26 pts behind champions Aldershot Town.
Their record was: P 46, W 22, D 13, L 11, F 70, A 56, Pts 79.

Skybet have Hendon as fourth favourites to win the title this time.

Perhaps their biggest signing this season is midfielder Scott Cousins, who contacted the club last week after being released by Chelsea. Scott made 27 reserve team appearances for the Premiership club.

Hendon kick off their latest league campaign at home to Hornchurch on the 16th
