Team Bath pre-match news
Gresley skipper defender Andy Cheetham is due to return to the squad for the trip to Team Bath after recovering from an Achilles injury.
However. Manager Gary Norton is yet to decided whether to risk him with some important games coming up.

Norton said: "Cheets trained on Thursday and seemed to come through ok. He is still feeling the injury a bit, but he is available for Saturday. We want him fit for the FA Trophy game against Hinckley United so we've yet to decide whether to risk him against Bath."

Striker Liam Hebberd will be given a further week to recover from his knee injury although he also trained on Thursday.

Defenders Gary White (knee) and Nathan Tate (shoulder) are both still missing.

Earl Alexander looks set to keep his place after the man-of-the-match performance against Stourport Swifts in the Dr Martens Cup.

Norton said: "We have a bit of a selection headache upfront and in midfield. Earl is very prominent in our planning and when he's on form he can cause defences problems. We could also go with three strikers playing Shaun Harrad on the right where he's played quite often for Notts County.

Midfielder David Berks has returned to Rocester after just over a week and one game with Gresley.

Norton said: "David had the flu on Tuesday but I felt he struggled last weekend. I was expecting a bit more with him stepping down from the Premier Division.

I spoke to him last Wednesday and he said he wanted to go back to Rocester. He apologized and said the reason behind his decision was the extra traveling – more than he anticipated. He thanked us for the opportunity, but said the pace of the game was a lot different than what he'd experienced at Rocester.

"Personally, I think he's taken the easy option but he leaves with our best wishes."
