Kearns fractures wrist

Gresley's boss Brian Kenning recently revealed defender Dave Kearns fractured his wrist in Tuesday night's 4 - 3 Derbyshire Senior Cup victory over Alfreton Town.
Kearns, who scored Rovers' opening goal, was substituted late in the second half with a foot injury but it has since been discovered he has fractured a wrist.

With not having a game at the weekend, it is hoped that Kearns will be fit for next Saturday's clash with Moor Green.

There is better news for striker Neil Kitching, who broke his leg in the away game against Tiverton Town.
He has been told he will not need an operation after going back to hospital on Wednesday to have a lighter cast fitted.

Meanwhile, there could be some movement on the player front next week with Kenning revealing he is hoping to bring in two players in time for Rovers' next fixture - and that would mean players leaving.
