Sutton Coldfield pre-match news
Gresley Rovers will be without three of their strikers for the game against Sutton Coldfield town on Boxing Day. KO 1pm.
Liam Hebberd became the latest causality when he suffered a broken ankle in the game against Bromsgrove Rovers last Saturday.

Steve Lenagh (calf) is rated as extremely doubtful, and Shaun Harrad (broken thumb) is out.

Gresley also have problems in defence with Leigh Everitt (thigh) definitely out and fellow defender still suffering from an ear infection.

Former Manchester City star Steve MacKenzie has been signed by manager Gary Norton as cover.

Norton was also hoping to bring in a loan striker before Boxing Day and is in talks with a 20-year-old from Bradford City who manager Bryan Robson wants to go out on loan.

Carl Francis, who had an impact when he came off the subs bench at Bromsgrove, could partner midfielder Jamie Barrett up front. Barrett played as an emergency striker in the same game.

"Francis came on and did very well," said Norton. "He had a hand in both goals. This could be a big opportunity for both him and Barrett. We can call on those two if needed, but if we don't bring someone in and if one of those two get injured we will be in trouble.

"We have just got over one injury crisis and now we have another."

Gresley from: Belford, Wardle, Haynes, Smith, Cheetham, White Barrett, Slater, Alexander, Holmes, Doughty, Francis, Sylla, Branch, MacKenzie.
