Stapenhill training game
A Gresley Rovers XI entertain Stapenhill tonight in a training game at the Moat ground (7.30pm).
Manager Gary Norton is using the game to look at one or two newer faces recently recruited to the Reserve team as well as give some of his squad some match fitness.

New signings Simon Tucker and Nathan Jones are included in the squad. Norton told Gresley Rovers Online: "The main point of the exercise is to give Simon and Nathan an opportunity to settle in further as well as give a couple of my squad some much needed fitness.

"Leigh Everitt did well when he came on at half time on Saturday after being out injured but he needs this game to boost his fitness as does Stewart Lake.

"I want to look at one or two other options as well and it's also a good opportunity to look at some of the more recent signings that the Reserves have made.

"I don't get the chance to see the Reserves much but I do know what most of the established players can do. I want to use tonight as an opportunity to look at a few fresh faces that I've not seen before."

Squad: Clarke, Villas, Hood, Barrett, Slater, Haynes, Alexander, Everitt, Lake, Doughty, Francis, Tucker, Jones, Perry, Kelly Wally, Brevitt, Guiney, White, Lenagh.
