Laws leaves the Moat Ground

Marc Laws has become the latest player to leave the Moat Ground as manager Gary Norton looks to freshen-up his side.
Norton said: "We brought Marc in as a utility player at a time when we were very thin on the ground. Although he's had very limited opportunities, it has not really worked out. It was a difficult decision to make but we wanted to bring new players in."

Gresley could field a new face for their home game against Rossendale on Saturday. "We are hoping to sign someone tonight (Thursday), we have seven days in for a defender and a central midfielder and are also trying to get a striker in on loan from a Premiership club," said Norton. "We want to try and get a squad of 16 or 17, but one or two more may go when their places are threatened."
