Defender joins the Moatmen
Republic of Ireland youth international defender Niall Hudson has signed for Gresley Rovers.
The former Nottingham Forest Academy player, who also has had spells at Halifax Town, Belper Town, Dublin City and Ilkeston Town was approached by Manager Gary Norton with a view to moving from Ossett Town but the deal seemed to have fallen through. However, Norton asked him to think things over last weekend and last night (Tuesday) he completed his move.

Norton said: "We were disappointed last week when the deal fell through and I asking him to think about things over the weekend. I rang him Monday and he and he signed on Tuesday. He's a quality player and looked sharp in training last night - we are delighted to have signed him. His primary position is right back, but he can play centre back, in midfield and at left back."
