Evans back at the Moat?
Former Rovers defender Stuart Evans has joined the squad for training. Manager John McGinlay is expected to open talks with Evans, who has had spells with Hednesford, Hereford and Halesowen Town, next week.
Defender Jamie Roberts has not been seen or heard from since attending the first training session a couple of weeks ago. Chairman Mark Evans said; "I'd be surprised if Jamie was part of the manager's plans any longer."

Richie Gardner has been linked with a move to Sutton Coldfield Town the club Rovers' former boss Brian Kenning joined after leaving Gresley.

Chairman Mark Evans said; " Obviously we have heard the reports and Ritchie has asked for a meeting to discuss his future at Gresley. We shouldn't read too much into it because players often ask to speak with me, but if he has decided to move on then we wish him all the luck."

Gardner contacted the chairman on Wednesday after he had missed training without any explanation.

New signing, Alex Green who joined from Stalybridge Celtic, missed training this week as a precaution after feeling a twinge in his thigh. But he is still expected to be in the 30-strong squad that will face Eagley Sports tomorrow.
Two back-to-back training games will be played against Eagley to give has many squad members a game as possible. Ko 12.30pm & 3.00pm.
